Zahid refuses to entertain ‘London Move’ rumour

PUTRAJAYA - Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi refuses to entertain the 'London Move' claims, allegedly a plot to oust him as the party president.

He said the claims were only rumours.

"I heard the rumours, (but I) don’t make decisions based on these rumours,” he said in a press conference in conjunction with the 2023 New Year Mandate of the Rural and Regional Development Ministry (KKDW), here, on Thursday.

A portal reported a secret meeting in London allegedly took place recently and it was said to be organising a movement to realign the country's political landscape.

The London Move was said to attempt to topple the unity government involving several political leaders including those from Umno and opposition parties.
