SHAH ALAM - Umno Vice President Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has claimed to be a victim of slanderous attacks by a party that ‘does not know sins’ after he was linked to 'London Move’, a term to topple the unity government.

The former prime minister said he has been on low-profile after the Nov 19 polls to avoid being the target of rumours or slander.

"I have been silent since the GE15 until now.

"My purpose (in remaining silent) is to avoid speculation and slander but these slanderers do not know sin and continue to link me."

"That's why I consider this accusations to be an act of malicious defamation," he was quoted in Malaysiakini.

Earlier, Ismail Sabri was asked to comment on the alleged ‘secret movement’ involving attempts to topple the unity government involving several political leaders, including from Umno.

This was also linked by the leader of the opposition party.

They were said to have held a secret meeting in London recently and are accused of organising a movement to realign the country's politics.
