SHAH ALAM - Malaysia reported 480 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours as compared to 609 cases yesterday.
Based on KKMNOW portal, seven were imported cases.
Selangor recorded the highest number of new infections with 199 cases; followed by Penang with 46 cases; Kuala Lumpur (44); Sarawak (31); Kedah and Perak each (26); Malacca (22); Johor (18); Negeri Sembilan (15); Kelantan (12); Putrajaya and Sabah each (11); Pahang (7); Terengganu (4); Perlis (3); and Labuan (2).
There were four deaths reported with no brought in dead (BID) reported.
Meanwhile, active cases decreased to 13,639 and out of that number, 12,888 or 93.3 percent of patients are undergoing quarantine at home.
A total of 885 patients received treatment at the hospital, 45 of them were placed in the intensive care unit (ICU), with 19 patients require ventilators.
The ministry also recorded 655 recoveries.
