SHAH ALAM - Actress Farah Nadia Zainal Abidin, fondly known as Nad Zainal appeared on a live TikTok session last night to share her current health status after a month of being hospitalised.
Donning a cream hijab on the screen, Nad Zainal also took the opportunity to extend her gratitude to those who had endlessly prayed for her when she was unconscious.
"After a month fighting for my life, God has realised my prayer to reunite with my family and I am extremely grateful that I have many people in my life who love me.
"Thank you and this is an unforgettable experience, a lesson for me to love myself more, take care of my health and the people around me,” she said.
Shortly after starting her liver session, the 32-year-old actress who was visibly nervous but in good spirits, acknowledged that due to her health condition, she would be speaking at a slower pace and even pause to catch her breathe.
In terms of returning to set, Nad shared that she would be taking a break for two months to prioritise her health.
"I can’t go against Him anymore. Before this I always said that I when in fact I couldn’t.
"I decided to rest perhaps for two months, to prepare myself because if I want to act, I want to deliver the best,” she said.
On Saturday, Nad previously shared on her Instagram account that she would go live on TikTok.
In November, it was reported that the actress famously known in her drama Cina Buta and Takdir Yang Tertulis was hospitalised and warded in the intensive care unit (ICU).
It was later revealed that Nad had experienced a lung infection and was placed under induced coma for two days due to her critical condition.
