SHAH ALAM - Kelantan, Terengganu and Sarawak still record more than 1,000 victims as of 6am, today.
Based on the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma), Kelantan recorded the highest number of victims which was a total of 17,298 people involving 5,769 families while in Terengganu, there were 15,243 victims involving 4,182 families.
Meanwhile, in Sarawak, there were 1,177 victims which involved 296 families, while in Sabah there were 618 victims from 149 families.
Currently, six states have been affected by floods, namely Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak.
In Perak, there were a total of 69 victims involving 17 families and in Johor, there were 32 victims from 10 families.
However, the total number of flood victims in six states was seen to have decreased to 34,437 people involving 10,423 families, compared to 36,906 people from 11,077 families at 4am.
