SHAH ALAM - The Hino Total Support (TS) Contest saw as many as 158 contestants from 26 of its authorised dealers nationwide vying to win a trip to Japan, next year.
Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Hino Malaysia), a subsidiary of Hino Motors Limited Japan, organised the contest for the eighth time at its headquarters in Petaling Jaya.
It said this year’s return was exclusively to foster greater skills and knowledge among the dealers, enhance their customer servicing skills as well as improve technical expertise.
In the one-day competition, there were prizes for the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up for four main categories, namely sales, services, parts, and customer success operation (CSO). At the same time, the competition boosted up participants' skills and knowledge in the four categories including the theoretical and practical practices.
The winner of the grand prize, known as the 3S Champion, went to the team which managed to excel in all four categories and they received the Challenge Trophy and cash incentive of RM 3,000.
The winning team will also participate in an educational trip to Hino Motors Limited Japan, next year.
Hino Malaysia took the initiative to organise the event after last year’s uncertain situation of increasing Covid-19 cases towards the end of 2021.
It said all four categories will be showcasing Hino’s mission which is to be Malaysia’s "most customer-centric and reliable” commercial vehicle company, and make the country a better place to live in by providing the "best-fit products” and "total support”.
This, it said will always be Hino’s benchmark in reaching high quality standards to Hino work rate and customers.
