SHAH ALAM - It was a scary fun ride.
A video of a squid ride gone bad has gone viral with three riders plummeting down and crash landing on the ground from their seats, with screams from onlookers.
According to a Facebook user Che Tie, the incident took place at Eco Puncak Alam, here.
The 45-second clip ends with good Samaritans helping injured riders, ensuring they were doing well.
Kuala Selangor district police chief Supt Ramli Kasa further confirmed that a woman sustain severe injuries while the condition of the two injured children thrown out of a ride at a fun fair in Puncak Alam, here remains unknown.
He said the status of the two children is yet to be ascertained from the 8.50pm incident.
"All victims were sent to Shah Alam hospital for further treatment,” he said in a statement.
It was also reported that three ambulance and one fire engine came in to rescue the victims.
He said a further probe under Section 6 of the Selangor State Entertainment Enactment 1995 - operating without a license will be carried out.
