SHAH ALAM - Malaysia reported a total of 866 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, with one from the total is an imported case.
According to data from the Health Ministry's CovidNow website, two deaths from the 10 were deaths occured outside healthcare facilities or brought-in-dead (BID), pushing the country's cumulative death toll to stand at 36,763 cases.
Meanwhile, the Covid-19 active cases in the country recorded 18,721 cases with 17,408 cases or 93 per cent were individuals quaratined at home.
While remaining 1,235 Covid-19 patients were placed in the hospital.
A total of 78 patients were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and from the amount, 50 cases are ventilated.
The country also recorded a recovery of 1,313 cases on Sunday, rounding up the total 4,955,150 cases.
