SHAH ALAM - Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's daughter Nurulhidayah has been redesignated as MQ Technology Bhd's chairman effective yesterday (Dec 5).
According to media reports, MQ Tech had in a statement said Nurulhidayah was redesignated to the position, switching roles with Datuk Lim Char Boo, who is now the company's vice chairman, effective the same day.
Previously, Nurulhidayah was appointed as vice-chairman of the company on June 2.
She previously served as vice-president of Corporate Communications (General Manager) at Syarikat Perumahan Negara Bhd (SPNB) from December 2012 to April 2016.
Nurulhidayah holds a degree in communications from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and a Master of Business Administration from Lincoln University College.
MQ Tech is a company involved in rapid tooling and prototyping business, which produces molds, tools, jigs and fixtures used in the manufacture of hard disk drives, automotive and medical industries.
