SHAH ALAM - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he has instructed for national 5G network to be reviewed.
The move is to ensure all parties had followed necessary proceedures.
"I have instructed for it to be reviewed because it was not done in a transparent manner, there were no proper tender process, therefore we need to review to make sure that we follow strict procedure," he said during a press conference today.
In 2021, the government unveiled a plan for a state-owned agency to own all 5G spectrum, the move caused concerns over pricing, transparency and monopoly.
