agreed to form a Unity Government.
"I believe that my presence and that of Parti Amanah Negara chairman (Mohamad Sabu) and other PH leaders here in Pahang is with an open heart.
"We are ready to forget our long-running feud for the people, especially the people in Pahang including the residents of Tioman ," he said while delivering a talk at the campaign for the Tioman State Assembly s on Wednesday night.
The talk was also attended by Pahang BN chairman, Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail; Pahang PH chairman, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari and Pas ulama council secretary Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali.
According to Amirudin, the BN-PH pact needs to present a unified front for the state.
"Who we were going against previously, well we have to forget all those differences.
"The differences are not a problem. We're born and bred differently, in a clan or in a group...well all this is for us to get to know each other and put aside our differences to promote kindness and togetherness," he said.
Touching on the issue of the formation of the Pahang government, Amirudin explained that PH is ready to cooperate with the political bloc without putting any conditions.
This is to enable the Pahang government to be established immediately for the stability of the people.
"We are thinking about the country and the future together, especially in Pahang, Selangor and Malaysia as a whole. So I say we and (BN) are discussing peacefully.
"We want to establish a peaceful and a stable state, but the other party (PN) wants to look at the state and the position first, they want to know about the portfolios before forming the government," he said.
In GE15 Pahang had 42 state seats, and out of the total, PN had 17 seats, BN had 16 and PH managed to secure eight seats.
