SHAH ALAM - The rebuilding of Malaysia into a better, highly skilled nation requires the federal government and Sarawak to work closely, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said today.
Anwar today received an entourage led by Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Haji Openg at his residence in Bandar Sungai Long, which is the first visit by a state leadership since his appointment to the top post on Thursday.
On his Twitter account, Anwar said Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Barisan Nasional, Warisan, and the GRS were the parties under the unity government that he led.
"GPS is among the pillars, in addition to Barisan Nasional, Warisan, and also GRS, that form the unity government that I lead," wrote Anwar.
