KUALA LUMPUR - The decision on whether BN will cooperate with Pakatan Harapan (PH) in forming a government will be known tomorrow.

MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said no decision has yet been made at the BN Supreme Council Meeting.

"There are still further discussions as the National Palace has issued an order where the decision must be finalized by 2pm tomorrow.

"So far I can't tell you anything because there hasn't been an update," he said when he was met by reporters at UMNO headquarters here on Monday.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah reportedly agreed to extend the time period for political parties to form a government until 2pm on Tuesday.

In line with that, political parties now have an additional 24 hours to negotiate the formation of a government after the 15th General Election (GE15), thus naming a member of the House of Representatives who has the majority trust to be the 10th Prime Minister's candidate.

Ka Siong added that BN will look at all possibilities in cooperation with any coalition.

Meanwhile, MIC President Tan Sri S A Vigneswaran said the party's stance on cooperation with PH is subject to the upcoming meeting.

According to him, a total of seven people were given the responsibility to conduct discussions with PH.

"No decision yet. They will deliberate on both and do what's best for the country.

"There is no consensus on who, either (PH Chairman) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim or (PN Chairman) Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin we will give support to," he said.
