KUALA LUMPUR – The vehicles ferrying delegations of Sabah political leaders has left Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's residence.
The cars with Sabah registration plate numbers had left at the house compound at 7pm after they spent about two hours there.
However, none of the cars had stopped to give comments to the media personnel who had waited since afternoon.
The leaders in those cars could not be identified.
It was believed that the discussion between PN and other Borneo parties had been concluded to form the federal government.
Earlier, Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) president Tan Sri Abang Johari Abang Openg confirmed that it would back Muhyiddin Yassin as the 10th Prime Minister to form the next federal government.
Muhyiddin claimed that he had secured enough support from the MPs to enable him to be appointed by the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong as the 10th Prime Minister in accordance with the Federal Constitution.
