KUALA LUMPUR – Pas President Abdul Hadi Awang and Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor leave Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s residence here this evening.
At 4.35pm, a black BMW which transported Hadi had left the residence.
Hadi had rolled down the window and waved to the members of the media.
However, the vehicle did not stop and no comments were given.
Less than 10 minutes later, Sanusi was seen leaving the residence in a black Volvo but he also refused to give any comment.
Meanwhile, Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee was seen leaving Muhyiddin’s residence here at 4.48pm.
Yong told the media that PN had a majority without Pakatan Harapan's (PH) alliance, and would create a federal government.
As Pas Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari left Muhyiddin's residence, he said they were still in discussion to form a government.
He said that he could not comment further but confirmed that Pakatan Harapan (PH) would not be involved.
The PN candidate for prime minister had been the centre of attention for the media since Sunday morning.
Media personnel have gathered there to follow the development on the formation of the new government.
The 15th General Election (GE15) ended in a hung parliament with no party securing a clear majority to form the new federal government.
Earlier at about 3.15pm, seven vehicles were seen at the vicinity of Muhyiddin's house.
Muhyiddin on Sunday revealed that he and Hadi had a meeting with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman Tan Sri Abang Johari Abang Openg, to discuss the formation of the federal government.
