PUTRAJAYA - Pejuang chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad leaves Perdana Leadership Foundation with his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali as official results showed that he has lost to defend his Langkawi seat.
The seat was won by Datuk Suhaimi Abdullah from PN, with 25,463 votes.
A little over midnight, reporters gathered at the location were told that the two-timed former prime minister will not be holding a press conference.
This is Mahathir’s second electoral defeat since 1969.
