KOTA KINABALU - Datuk Seri Abd Rahman Dahlan's mission to capture the Kota Belud Parliamentary seat fails when its incumbent Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis defends the seat.
Election Commission (EC) official results stated that Isnaraissah Munirah from Parti Warisan (Warisan) obtained a total of 25,148 votes with a majority of 4,582 votes.
Rahman who represented Barisan Nasional (BN) obtained 20,566 votes while Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Madeli @ Modily Bangali had a total of 8,323 votes.
Kota Belud Parliament had 79,885 registered voters and the total voter turnout was 54,037 or 67.94 per cent.
In the 14th General Election (GE14) Munirah had successfully took down the former Sabah chief minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak with a total majority of 4,262 votes.
