PANDAN - His arms slung over crutches as he slowly trekked his way to the SMK Pandan Indah, 26-year old Mohd Taufiq Mustakim did not allow disability to hamper the fulfillment of his responsibility as a voter in the 15th general elections today.
Proudly signalling with his inked finger as proof he had completed his duties, Mohd Taufiq thanked the Election Commission for making arrangements to accomodate people with disabilities, especially at this polling station where otherwise voters had to proceed to an upper floor to cast their votes.
"I did’t need to go to upstairs, so everything was easy with the help of the officers and I hope this going to be a movement for a better Malaysia,” he said.
