SEGAMBUT: Pakatan Harapan Hannah Yeoh says that the caretaker government have repeatedly failed to deliver their mandate by not taking care of the well-being of the people.
Speaking at a ceramah PH earlier tonight, Yeoh said that many small businesses have to shut down during the Covid-19 pandemic because the ministries that were supposed to help them failed to do so.
"When the pandemic became endemic, they were slow to move with the categories of businesses that could be opened and as a result, small businesses like salons have to shut down,” she said.
"Moreover those ministries that were supposed to defend and protect the rights of women and children were not doing what they were supposed to do. In fact, they were busy promoting themselves by making unrelated videos.”
She then called for voters to vote for the political party that they know will be working for the rakyat, should they take Putrajaya tomorrow.
"We want a parliament where leaders talk about climate change, floods mitigation, health care, beds for patients and for education.
"Enough talking about religion and race, we have better things to discuss for our country’s future,” she said.
Yeoh will be defending her Segambut seat tomorrow against Perikatan Nasional candidate Prabagaran Vythilingam Daniel Ling Sia Chin (Barisan Nasional-MCA).
