SHAH ALAM - Parti Keadilan Rakyat deputy president Rafizi Ramli stated that the floods would only affect the 15th General Election (GE15) locally, not nationally.

According to Rafizi, the rain will not have much of an impact on the day of the election.

"I don't think the rain will affect much, but if the water rises at that time, their (voters’) movements would of course be affected,” he said.

Regarding the percentage of people going out to vote, Rafizi said it would only be affected within the local area.

"The total percentage of voters will not be greatly affected at the national level, but it will only affect the local area where the water rises.”

Recently, Rafizi stated that Pakatan Harapan is in the lead to win General Election 15 with "nearly 100 seats," according to the coalition's survey on voter perceptions.
