KUALA LUMPUR - Titiwangsa candidate Khalid Samad stands firm in ensuring the next prime minister will not be from Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN).
The Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate said its time for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be the prime minister in GE15.
"I hope all of you will stand with PH and let our leader, Anwar Ibrahim govern the country.
"We push Zahid Hamidi (BN chairman), we push Muhyddin (PN chairman), we only want Anwar.
"Choose PH and your wish to see Anwar as prime minister will be granted," he said to the reporters when met at a dinner event here in Kuala Lumpur.
Khalid also stressed that it was time for good governance and end corruption.
Commenting further, Khalid said he ensures that he would be reachable and be on the ground if he wins the Titiwangsa seat.
"I took care of Shah Alam for three years, never once did I run from my role in serving people there.
"So, help me to win this GE15," he told his voters.
In Titiwangsa, Khalid will be facing BN candidate Datuk Seri Johari Ghani, PN candidate Rosni Adam and Pejuang candidate Khairuddin Abu Hassan.
