JELEBU - Jelebu Pas denies that the party was being used by Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition as circulated through banners installed in several places around Jelebu.
Pas Jelebu's deputy chairman Muhammad Faudzi Jalil said Pas officers noticed a banner that disputed Pas collaboration with Bersatu in front of a school in Kuala Klawang, at about 7am on Sunday.
"We later received many more complaints about the banners in five other locations around the Jelebu Parliament.
"I am not accusing any party because I believe what happened will bring good and grace to PN and eventually win the Jelebu parliamentary seat," he said when contacted by Sinar Harian on Monday.
Commenting further, he said that other parties were believed to have taken the opportunity to hang the banners to show the displeasure of Pas members.
As a coalition party in the PN, Pas carried out campaign works in a good atmosphere with Bersatu and Gerakan.
"Representing Pas in the Jelebu area, I vehemently deny that the matter in question ever happened, instead Pas cooperates in all matters in a harmonious atmosphere," he said.
He explained that there was no dispute and none of the parties were used or taken advantage of, in fact all the coalition parties were in good agreement.
Following that, Faudzi said he had lodged a police report at the Kuala Klawang Police Station at 3.18pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Jelebu District police chief, Deputy Superintendent Maslan Udin confirmed receiving the report made.
