KUALA LUMPUR - Titiwangsa candidate Datuk Seri Johari Ghani's priority will be to solve long standing issues in the area.
Among the problems are delayed re-development of PKNS flats, upgrading work in several villagers and two markets at Jalan Raja Bot and Chow Kit.
"I will make sure DBKL will complete the Chow Kit and Raja Bot market project, which has been abondoned for 10 years.
"This unknowingly affected most of the business owners also customers are having hard time parking in the area," he said.
Speaking to Sinar Daily, Johari said he wants to look into the rebuilding Kampung Datuk Keramat market.
"The project is at a standstill because of a dispute between the developer and the landowner, Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
"Its been six years yet there are no action taken even if there is a fire incident," he said.
The Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the seat, also wants to find a quick solution on employment issues where most of Malaysians work in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city.
"Most of the graduates and youths don't get the right job that fits their qualification, so most of them are under employed.
"The only way to solve this job issues is to get the political stability so that we can convince investors either domestic or overseas to invest in the country, over a period of time we can create more jobs," he added.
Johari is against Dr Rosni Adam (PN), Khalid Samah (PH) and Khairuddin Abu Hassan (Pejuang).
