SHAH ALAM - Submissions for the Top in Tech Innovation Awards organised by Malaysiakini and Digital News Asia (DNA) for 2022 has been extended to Nov 30.
The judging process will be held between Dec 5 and Dec 9 at the Resource Centre in MRANTI Park while the awards ceremony will take place on Jan 12 at the Hive 5 auditorium, at the same place.
The award recognises leaders who have done an impeccable job leveraging technology and innovation during these trying times, and it is viewed as one of the steps empowering the rapidly growing technological ecosystem.
Among the prizes offered for the winners are the Top In Tech Innovation Awards 2022 Category Trophy, Winners’ Ad Grants by Malaysiakini & Digital News Asia worth up to RM30,000, Cash Prize for the Young Innovator of the Year as well as the access to programmes offered by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
As for the Innovator of the Year category, it is opened to Malaysians nationwide.
Meanwhile, the young Innovator of the Year category is opened to Malaysian students currently in secondary or tertiary institutions across the country.
Each entry is submitted through the online Entry Form available on the website and must be submitted by the stated deadline in video and document format.
The submissions for the awards are opened to Malaysian companies and Malaysian-based companies.
Shortlisted participants are required to present their innovation or services to the respective category judging panel followed by a Q&A session.
The Innovator of the Year award 2021 was bagged by MyKSSR founder Muhammad Haris Harun, Best Brick and Mortar Adoption award was won by Skynet Worldwide and the Most Impactful Academia-Industry Collaboration was won by Forward School.
