KUALA LUMPUR - The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) today called on parents and guardians of this year’s KAFA Class Assessment Test (UPKK) candidates who were affected by the change in dates for the written test to submit an appeal to the implementing agencies involved.
Jakim director-general Datuk Hakimah Mohd Yusoff said parents or guardians could submit the appeal together with related supporting documents to the implementing agency (state religious authority or the party responsible for the implementation of KAFA) that manages the UPKK examination before Nov 15, 2022.
"The result of appeals will be notified by the implementing agency to the candidate only," she said in a statement.
On Oct 27, the department announced that the written test for UPKK 2020 scheduled from Nov 14 to 17 had been postponed to Nov 28 until Dec 1 following the 15th General Election (GE15). - BERNAMA
