JERANTUT - Pahang Perikatan Nasional (PN) outlined 12 aspects in their manifesto for the 15th General Election (GE15), mainly focusing on the need for economic stability for the people of the state.
The Manifesto themed Pahang Berkat Makmur Sejahtera’ was launched by PN deputy chairman Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang at the Jerantut District Council square here tonight in the presence of Pahang PN chairman Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah.
Among the focus of the manifesto is to ensure a clean, transparent administration based on intergrity and competence along the lines of religious tolerence.
Apart from stimulating the economy, the manifeasto as offered to strengthen and boost the growth of small and medium sized entrepreneurs, including in Felda settlements.
The manifesato added that house ownership initiatives will be given priority while a close relationship would be established with non governmental organisations.
The Manifesto also offered initiatives for businesses, including for startup businesses by youths, encourage young entrepreneurs, empower women and senior citizens, assistance for marriages and assistance for education to children of Pahang residents.
In the GE15, PN will field 14 candidates for parliamentary seats while 42 candidates have been lined up to contest the state seats.
The Election Commission has set Nov 15 for early voting and Nov 19 for polling. - BERNAMA
