SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of continuous rain and strong winds in the east coast.
Findings based on the analysis from MetMalaysia Weather Research and Forecasting Model (MET-WRF), the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and the Global Forecast System (GFS) showed that wind concentration is expected to be on the east coast of the peninsula and west Sarawak.
MetMalaysia has released a seven day forecast.
"Meanwhile, states on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia and Sarawak can expect more constant heavy rain and thunderstorms on evenings lasting through the nights,” it said in a statement.
Continuous rain warning has also been issued in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor expected till Nov 11.
