SHAH ALAM - Pejuang chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that it is likely that no political party will win enough seats to form the government after the 15th General Election (GE15).

He also said that there are four political parties that have fielded enough candidates to form a government which are Barisan Nasional (BN), Pakatan Harapan (PH), Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Pejuang.

However, Mahathir further said that the voters should opt to vote for Pejuang as it is a Malay movement against corrupt ‘Umno’.

"As related above, Umno under Najib (former prime minister Najib Razak) and the other kleptocrats had destroyed the country, turning it into an unstable country of thieves,” he said in a statement.

He added the corrupt Malays have destroyed the nation and its administrative machinery through a backdoor government to displace an elected government.

Mahathir also said that Malaysia is getting closer to becoming Sri Lanka, Lebanon or Iraq.

"If voters choose the very people who caused the slide, or those whose elevation to government was through the back door, then the slide towards failure would certainly take place.

"But if the voter wisely choose those who are free from court action because they have committed no crime, those who had experience in governance and development, those who abide by the rule of law, then the chances are the restoration of this beloved country and the well-being of its people will be achieved,'' he added.
