KUALA LUMPUR - Pas Deputy President Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has warned those who are not chosen not betray the trust of the party and the people.
He said this when representing the party’s president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, the PN Deputy President during PN candidates announcement at Mitec, here, last night.
He said those who are not chosen are reminded not to become "traitors" because they will receive full-blown attacks to ensure no betrayals takes place internally.
"We are reminding those who are disappointed of not being selected not to become traitors to the people.
"This is a warning to them, if they betray us then we will attack them with everything we have,” he said.
Earlier, PN announced the list of candidates to contest in 169 Parliament seats and 116 state assembly seats in Pahang, Perlis and Perak for the upcoming general election.
Pas will contest in 64 seats, Bersatu in 74 seats, Gerakan in 20 seats while associate PN members contest in 11 seats.
