AMPANG - PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today took a jibe at Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional government, stating: "BN and PN do not even have telur (eggs)".
He was referring to the recent shortage of eggs and chicken in the market.
The Tambun Parliamentary candidate also touched on low wages, corruptions, high cost of living and the ailing economy. He further said prices of vegetables were going up and the rakyat's pledges to have a decent living was being ignored.
Anwar said PKR's new initiative would have a clear map to ensure the country is managed well.
"It does not belong to the upper class and those who stole from this country and those who get contracts.
"The map of Malaysia must change. Not by me or Rafizi or candidates but we must have a clear message that Malaysia is free.
He said this at spoke during his speech at Padang MBAJ, Taman Kosas, tonight before announcing the list of candidates for GE15.
Anwar further said: "PKR is a reformist party. We had to choose those from new and old and those with capabilities. Some are more capable and we had to drop them but that’s how it is.
"There must be transfer of power and the same people cannot hold power all the time despite struggling to protect and fight for the country,” he said.
Anwar further advised new candidates to be humble and work hard as the race for GE15 heats up.
Malaysians go to polls on Nov 19.
