AMPANG - We want a ‘fit’ prime minister, says PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli.
"We want to see a fresh looking prime minister every morning to go to work. If we look at a tired prime minister, that makes me tired as well," said Rafizi.
He was speaking to hundreds of party supporters before the party announced the 15th general election candidates at Padang MBAJ, Taman Kosas, tonight.
Rafizi added: "I hope when Anwar Ibrahim becomes the prime minister, he will stay fit because we will have a huge responsibility after this which is to inherit the government,” he said.
Apart from that, he said PKR’s President, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim decision to contest in Tambun became a concern as some questioned of he could win the seat.
"While others told me and Anwar cannot work together and some even said that I placed Anwar in Tambun to lose," he said, adding that the decision was made after proper research.
