PETALING JAYA - Pakatan Harapan has today unveiled seven candidates for the coming 15th General Election (GE15) all of whom are slated to contest in the November 19 electoral bouts in Perak, Perlis, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and Selangor.
These seven line-up, are predominantly new faces in politics with one having the most election experience being Nik Omar -- the son of the late Pas spiritual leader Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat -- who contested for the Chempaka state seat in Kelantan in GE14.
Listed below are the rest of the candidates and the states in which they will contest in:
- Former perak state secretary Datuk Zainal Azman Abu Seman (Perak)
- Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin former vice chancellor Datuk Dr Hassan Basri Awang Mat Dahlan (Pahang)
- Universiti Malaya senior lecturer Dr Noraishah Mydin Abdul Aziz (Kuala Lumpur),
- Zakat Selangor former CEO Saipolyazan Yusop (Selangor)
- Malaysia Youth Organisation former president, Jufitri Joha (Negeri Sembilan)
- Fathin Amelina Fazlie (Perlis)
Anwar said more GE15 candidates will be announced soon.
"As we have promised before, we will present fresh faces from different disciplines and experiences.
"Hence, as for today Keadilan and Pakatan Harapan (PH) has announced the special figures and how serious we are to bring forward the credible figures,” said Anwar.
