KYIV - Ukraine said Sunday that 10 civilians lost their lives and 14 people were injured due to Russia's attacks Saturday on various regions of the country, Anadolu Agency reported.
Deputy head of the presidential office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said on Telegram that there were casualties in the attacks on the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Kherson regions.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia has lost 65,000 liquidated personnel, 2,529 tanks and 5,193 armored vehicles since Moscow launched a war on Kyiv on Feb 24.
On Sept 21, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu announced that 5,937 Russian soldiers lost their lives in the war.
Meanwhile, Russia claimed that its so-called administration building in the eastern Donetsk region was attacked by Ukrainian troops Sunday morning.
Alexey Kulemzin, the so-called mayor of Donetsk, which is controlled by Russia said on Telegram that the Ukrainian army attacked the region with missiles.
Three US-made HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) missiles were launched, he said, adding that one of the missiles hit the administrative building of the city.
Noting that the building was "seriously" damaged, he said necessary precautions were taken.
It was also reported that two people were injured in the incident.
