Lancôme has come through with its brand new feminine fragrance with musky chypre floral fragrance called Idôle in the wake of contemporary femininity in line with revolution and changes in women.
The scent crystallises a ‘clean’ smell that reflects purity with its main scent of a rose, to create a note consistent with the flower that are verdant, tender, fresh and voluptuous.
It is also lightly enhanced with a jasmine and an assembly of white musk which brings Idôle its full elegance.
The top notes of the fragrance are made of Bergamot Italy Essence and Pear Accord, and as the ‘middle base of the scent comes from Clean and Glow Accord, Isparta Rose Petal Essence, Centifolia Rose Absolute, Rose Water, India Jasmine Grandiflorum super infusion. Jasmine Grandiflorum Egypt Absolute, Jasmine Sambac Absolute and the last base are Indonesia Patchouli Heart Essence, Texas Cedar Fraction Essens, Muscs and Madagascar Vanilla Premium Extract.
The name ‘Idôle’ is a symbolisation of success that turns women into inspiring leaders and the bottle comes with the slimmest design in the world with just 15mm thick to emphasise its rigorously geometric structure and the ideal proportions.
The creative creation emerged from the combination of three female perfumers from three continents with different personas known as Shyamala Maisondieu,Nadège Le Garlantezec and Adriana Medina.
These talents worked together to craft Idôle notes based on its original clean accord combining unique contributions to the fragrance.
Speaking to Sinar Daily, Lancome Malaysia Education Manager, Carmen Wong Jia woon said the fragrance is a modern elegance floral scent that makes the wearers feel feminine and unique.
She said, the three perfumers compose different notes of the ingredients to give a fine-structure to the fragrance. "This one is very unique because when we talk about flora, we’re talking about what flower we use as the ingredients.
"We also have clean soft chic accord inside, so it will give you the opposite kind of sensation.
The top note is actually Bergamot, you will feel like it is very citrusy but it has a smooth transition into the rose ‘flora’ and woody scent,” she told Sinar Daily.
Asked why Daiyan Trisha is chosen as the local face of the fragrance, she said they are attracted to the personality of the figure that represents boldness and empowerment.
"We want our females to rise and be your ownself, you are the future leader of yourself and she is the perfect ambassador that really showcases the personality that we are looking for.
"She is like a shining star so it really matches with the message that we want to give to the consumers and it is the same with Zendaya, the way she brings out the whole fragrance as the independence of spirit making sure that you do whatever you want,” she added.
Carmen also pointed out that the design of the bottle is one of the best points of the fragrance due to its sleekness and the thickness that resembles a smartphone.
"Very sleek, very light and you can carry it everywhere you like. "The reason why it is designed like a smartphone is because the world is changing so fast and we need something that is easy to wear and carry around. Hence, the inspiration of the design,” she added.
