PUTRAJAYA- Bersatu is ready to consider a political collaboration with Pejuang to go against Umno in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Its president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the matter could be implemented if Pejuang was serious about it.
"We are ready to consider and it needs to be highlighted to the Supreme Council to be decided," he said.
Muhyiddin said for now no parties had contacted him to discuss the matter.
"I am unsure whether the suggestion is serious or not and we are already in the preparation phase.
"Earlier it was discussed, then it had no further developments," he said to reporters after he officiated the National Rehabilitation and Social Inclusion Seminar, here, on Thursday.
He said Bersatu and Pas through Perikatan Nasional (PN) as a whole have prepared to face GE15.
"We are ready," he said.
On Tuesday, Pejuang Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he had considered to cooperate with other political parties to go against Umno.
He said the steps were to save the country from Umno's reign.
