KUALA LUMPUR - The decision to dissolve the Penang state legislative assembly will be finalised in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) presidential meeting tomorrow.
DAP Secretary-General Anthony Loke Siew Fook said any decisions about the matter will be made after the meeting.
"We will bring this matter to the PH presidential meeting tomorrow evening.
"We will discuss together. Any decisions will be made after the meeting," he said to the media at the DAP Headquaters today.
Right after the announcement of parliament dissolvement yesterday, Anthony said that Penang voters are inclined to hold the 15th General Elections (GE15) simultaneously.
"We have many views after the annoucement made by the Prime Ministerday yesterday.
"The people in Penang has a strong reaction on this (decision on dissolving the Penang state legislative assembly).
"That is one of the factor that we have to take into account since the election is all about Malaysians who are the decision maker," he reasoned.
Interestingly, last week, PH presidential council announced that the three PH-led states; Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, will not hold any state-level elections this year due to safety concerns relating to possible monsoon floods starting next month.
