SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 1,445 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours with two deaths including one brought-in-dead (BID), said the health ministry's KKMNOW portal.
This brings the total death toll to 36,400 since the pandemic began.
Currently, there are 22,772 active cases with 21,768 (95.6 percent) undergoing home quarantine and 967 patients admitted n hospitals.
Out of that, 37 patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 22 of those patients are in need of ventilator support.
The health ministry also recorded 1,800 recoveries yesterday.
To date, Malaysia has recorded 4,795,804 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.
