KOTA KINABALU - Sabah Parti Pribumi Bersatu (Bersatu) Srikandi chief Datuk Seri Azizah Mohd Dun described all 25 parliamentary seats in the state as 'hot seats' in the coming 15th General Election (GE15).

"I remember not only in Sepanggar but all parliamentary constituencies in the 25 divisions, they are all 'hot seats'. Everyone volunteered to be a candidate.

"Sometimes in a party it is not just one but two or three people who would put themselves forward to be a candidate. That is normal.

"It's no longer a secret that people want to be a candidate, it's interesting, isn't it. If we see the MPs are busy working, they can bring all kinds of things, in the end everyone likes it," she told the media after officiating the Srikandi and Armada Sepanggar Representative Conference, in Kolombong, today.

Speaking about candidates from Srikandi, she informed that her party sent five lists of female candidates to the leadership including for the Beaufort seat.

"As we mentioned earlier, we have submitted a list of candidates to the leadership and once again I say it is up to the leadership to determine how many and who will be selected and where will they be competing.

"When Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) contests and has decided who the candidate is, we will provide support to ensure the candidate," she added.
