KOTA KINABALU - Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) could only join Pakatan Harapan (PH) after the 15th General Election (GE15), says PKR deputy information chief Razeef Rakimin.
He said there were many aspects that needed to be considered before Muda could join PH.
"The decision whether Muda’s participation in PH would be accepted by the PH presidential council will be known soon.
"There are too many aspects that need to be looked into and matters that need to be taken into account since PH had faced betrayal before which led to the fall of the people's government of choice.
"I think Muda could join PH after GE15 and Muda still has a long way to go to give confidence that it would not betray PH," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
He said Muda must follow the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation’s (Upko) example as the party had been tested on their loyalty before officially joining PH in August, last year.
"Not only they were there during the Sheraton Move incident, but they stuck together in the Sabah state election without any issues.
"It is different compared to the Johor state election incident where Muda clashed with seats contested by PH candidates from PKR,” he said.
