SHAH ALAM - Supporters of the Islamic fights such as Pas will not sell its fight at RM90 million or position and ranking, says Abdul Hadi Awang.

The Pas President said the party represented the continuity of the Islamic fight that was tied to how it was promised that there would be an existence of such a group by Allah SWT as long as the world has not ended.

The Marang MP said if Pas had received the RM90 million as claimed, the party could definitely win Putrajaya in the last election.

"If it is true that Umno was the one that bribed RM90 million, (it) was foolish because it was something that could end the party and cause his government in the state that was not pro Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Umno to be in a better state.

"With RM90 million, if it was truly there, Pas could destroy PH that had a lot of funds to be used for social media to spread lies," he claimed in the Pas Minda President post on his Facebook on Tuesday.

Through the post, Hadi had again denied that the party had received the RM90 million bribe from Umno as reported in the Sarawak Report on Aug 6, 2016.

He said Pas could not afford to create social media to answer (the claims) because it was costly and let alone to broadcast slander, deception and big lies.

Hadi said if Pas truly had the money, Pas would not have leaked it even a little.

"The funds would surely have been spent to perfect it without wasting it, if it was invested the turnover could have been more than RM900 million.

"Before hearing the ‘fairy tales’ that Pas received RM90 million, for Pas looking at the donations (if any) Pas members majority were not rich, only a handful were at a position to contribute towards Pas, even then it could not even reach one million ringgit.

"However, Pas could compete in the election with the revenue from member donations throughout the country including Sabah and Sarawak, and many had contested in the Umno areas," he said.

He said Pas could suddenly afford to win three states and were present in the central government through collaboration with Umno, Bersatu and other parties to topple the PH government that was crumbling.

Hadi explained that Pas members truly knew about the sacrifices that were made because to uphold Islam, donations must come from sincere and halal sources.

"Pas people's representatives had to go through compulsory funds cut to be given to the party.

"All layers of Pas members had given their contributions even to those who were poor among the farmers, fishermen and labourer had contributed sincerely.

"There are Pas members who have sold land and such because they wanted to help pay for candidate deposits who were competing in the area because the candidate was not wealthy," he said.
