"Residents affected by the urban renewal projects will get better benefits, for example, houses that are now 400 square feet in size will increase up to 800 square feet and more,” he told reporters after speaking at the closing of the World Class Sustainable Cities (WCSC) Conference 2022 here today.

However, he said details on the matter would be presented later, in addition to getting feedback from the public.

According to him, the unofficial talks would also involve relevant industry experts to share their views and proposals in terms of the upgrading that can be carried out in the affected areas. He said the findings would be shared with DBKL for future action and planning. - BERNAMA
