KOTA BELUD - Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said the party will contest at the Kota Belud Parliamentary seat in the 15th general election (GE15) and told party members to work hard to win the seat from Warisan.
He further told them that the coming election will be one of the most challenging elections as they face former Umno leaders.
But he said Sabah BN candidates have a lot of potential and those who can win will be elected.
"We will choose candidates who can win, who can be accepted and who are favoured by the people of Kota Belud.
"The important thing is that the BN machinery must be ready, the Youth, Women, Puteri wing and the heads of the Voting District Centre (PDM) go to the ground. Work hard to ensure victory for GE15 candidates," he said.
He said this during the opening ceremony of the Gelombang Biru programme and the launch of Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery in Belud and Tuaran.
The Kinabatangan MP urged members to continue with the Gelombang Biru or the blue wave programme throughout the state.
"I want us to continue this momentum until the election because I am confident that BN's hard work and efforts are still relevant and accepted by the people," he said, adding that he will propose a manifesto to be included in the national manifesto to benefit the people of Sabah.
"I guarantee there will be surprises for Sabahans," he added.
