SHAH ALAM - A high school principal in Senaling, Negeri Sembilan lodges a police report following a circulated photo of a banner in front of the school that demands her and another school administrator be transferred from the institution.
Normah Mohd Nor denied the allegations against her and said that the attack might have been caused by a restructuring made for the school which had no principal for eight months before she was placed there.
She further said that she had carried out her duty as the principal and would not compromise with individuals who failed to perform well at the school.
"I firmly deny the accusations spread which are clearly untrue, malicious, and intended to bring down my reputation and that of the school.
"I have made restructuring which I believe has been inviting an attack on myself as well as the school administrator.
"I am open to discuss before but will not compromise with individuals who are lazy and nonchalant in their work including not showing good performance throughout the service,” she said through her Facebook post, today.
She added that she had lodged a police report regarding this and the case was under investigation.
She had also appointed a lawyer to take action against those responsible to tain the reputation of herself and the school.
"I have made a report to the police on the incident and the case is under investigation.
"I have also appointed a lawyer and will take legal action to individuals who spread this slander because it involves my dignity and the image of the school as a whole and also to individuals and 'pages' that have spread it on various social media platforms.
"I give 48 hours to the party involved in attacking and slandering me to meet me and apologise,” she added.
Earlier, a photo of a banner put at the school’s gate which demanded the authorities to transfer its principal and a school administration went viral on the social media.
Among those written on the banner were the school teachers requested for the Education Ministry and the Education State Department to transfer the two teachers involved immediately.
It aimed to prevent teachers from being stressed and hurt as a result of the actions of both school administrators who oppressed and threatened teachers in the school.
