KUALA LUMPUR - PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) celebrates the country's 2022 National Day in its own way by decorating all its rest and service areas (R&R) along its 1,130-kilometre highways with the Jalur Gemilang as well as various attractive Merdeka-themed decorations
PLUS in a statement today said the decorations at R&Rs and lay-bys were creatively produced using recycled items and it is in tandem with PLUS' purpose in preserving and ensuring the sustainability of the environment.
”Our highway customers who stop by at the R&Rs will not only have the opportunity to take a break and enjoy a meal but they will also be able to immerse the cheerful Merdeka ambience at the rest areas. The ambience of patriotism was achieved through a collaboration with our business partners and PLUS’ section offices along the highway,” said PLUS Managing Director Datuk Azman Ismail in a statement today.
According to the statement, Persada PLUS also boasts a 160-foot giant Jalur Gemilang on its building that can be seen from the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) evoking a sense of patriotism to all highway users who ply across its highway.
"PLUS as a National Strategic Asset is always committed to supporting and playing our role in the development of the country. Therefore, we hope these efforts will instil the spirit of national pride amongst Keluarga Malaysia.
"We wish all our Keluarga Malaysia highway customers a blessed Hari Kebangsaan and Malaysia Day. May everyone have a safe and smooth journey always,” added Azman. - BERNAMA
