One of South Korea’s well-loved artiste Rain is all set to return to Malaysia to perform a free concert.
The 40-year-old will appear in the Betadia Night concert on Aug 27, held at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil from 8pm to 11pm.
The appearance of the South Korean star will be accompanied by two local artist Andrew Tan and Jes Lee.
Throughout his music career, Rain or his real name Jung Ji Hoon has successfully produced seven albums and 28 singles.
He achieved major success through his third album as well as his number one single "It's Raining" in 2004.
The album recorded sales of 1 million in Asia making him an international star.
The artiste made his first appearance in the acting field through a drama "Sang Doo! Let's Go to School" in 2003.
In 2008, Rain appeared for the first time in the Hollywood film "Speed Racer" and later on "Ninja Assassin" in 2009.
His portrayal of Raizo in the film made him the first South Korean artist to win an MTV award.
