He said initial investigations showed that the Perodua Alza driver was from Gemencheh headed towards the Bukit Jalor Air Kuning Selatan.
"The victim had stopped at the Jalan Kampung Sungai Dua-Air Kuning Selatan junction with a Perodua Kancil behind her to enter the same lane.
"However, a Proton Saga driven by an 18-year old man coming out from the junction from the Air Kuning Selatan direction towards Gemas," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
Anuwal said the Proton Saga crashed into the Hyundai car that was on the main road from the Gemas direction to Tampin.
The incident, he said, caused the Hyundai driver to lose control and crash into the Perodua Alza that was waiting to turn.
He added that the Perodua Kancil driver was injured at the head and received treatment in Tampin Hospital as an outpatient.
