Covid-19: 3,080 new cases, seven deaths

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia has recorded a total of 3,080 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

This brought the total of active cases to 42,185, with 96.3 per cent of patients, or 40,622 individuals being quarantined at home.

The Health Ministry also recorded seven deaths bringing the total number of deaths in Malaysia to 35,862 since the pandemic began.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries stood at 3,999 on Monday.

To date, Malaysia recorded 4,626,061 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.
