Shah Alam - PKR has shut doors on the possibility of any discussion or cooperation with Bersatu Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali as he is seen as the reason for the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan administration in 2020.
PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil said the PKR Central Committee had further decided it will not "discuss or cooperate with Azmin Ali, as members, supporters and even the public consider one of the main causes of the ‘Sheraton Move’ treachery,” he said in a statement.
PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil said the PKR Central Committee had further decided it will not "discuss or cooperate with Azmin Ali, as members, supporters and even the public consider one of the main causes of the ‘Sheraton Move’ treachery,” he said in a statement.
The "Sheraton Move” saw a gathering of MPs at the Sheraton Hotel in Petaling Jaya in February 2020.
Malaysiakini had recently reported that Azmin, the international trade and industry minister, met two PKR representatives last week.
Bernama quoted Azmin stating that he had dismissed rumours of rejoining PKR after the news report of him meeting two PKR members.
"I met a lot of people and visited many hotels; I don’t remember whom I met. But that is just speculation,” he was quoted.
