KLANG - A company owner lost RM6,500 Raya money while visiting a grave at Lipat Kajang Islamic Grave here over the weekend.
South Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Cha Hoong Fong said the 61-year-old local man had parked his Toyota Estima around 9am, about 100 meters from the graveyard he was visiting..
"When he returned to the car half an hour later, his driver's side mirror was broken in," he said in a statement.
He said the absence of CCTV made the investigation difficult, however according to the victim's son, he saw a man hovering around the location before the incident.
"The victim's son saw the suspect wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt and shorts. The identification based on the skin of the hand was found to be dark skin.
"The suspect is believed riding a yellow Yamaha RXZ motorcycle but the registration number remains unknown," he said.
He said among the items stolen were backpacks containing identity cards, driving license, bank cards, cheque books belonging to the company and cash amounting to RM6,500.
