SHAH ALAM - The PKR National Congress, which will be held on June 10 to 12, is expected to cover all aspects of the general elections (GE).
PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said this takes into account the upcoming GE thus focus will be diverted on issues related to the election.
"I think this year's justice congress will only focus on one thing, which is the party's preparation for the GE.
"All matters related to GE strategy, the narrative, and all sorts," he told Sinar Harian on Sunday.
He, however, did not rule out other issues that will be raised including cooperation to join other parties to face the GE.
The party’s national congress will take place after the PKR election process in May.
Nomination day for the branch level has been set for April 8 to 10 while nominations for the central leadership council (MPP) are on April 11.
The campaign period will be for a month and the party's election voting date for the 2022 to 2025 term will start from May 13 to 18.
Only registered PKR members before or on Jan 31, 2022, can elect the leadership candidates at the central and branch levels.
